We began our journey during the pandemic of 2020, when the streets were empty and travel denied.  We, as creatives, looked around us for inspiration.

Reusing and recycling materials to hand to make gifts for our friends and family, we forged new friendships with like-minded people and traded with them.  Our wood is sourced from a nearby tree-surgeon. leather stripped from unwanted furniture and given a new life.  We limit our material sources whenever we can to local, independent suppliers.  A lot of our fabric comes from remnants and end of roll stock, scraps, or preloved material.  We also use our own pre-existing supplies, and we make everything using domestic machinery.

We do not claim that everything we use is ethically sourced, locally supplied, vegan and cruelty free, particularly when recycling or repurposing. but these things matter so much to us - we are making every effort to chose wisely, carefully and sympathetically before we select new material for use in our products.  And every single unique item is created individually with care and love.
